Terms and Conditions

We endeavour to list all items at correct prices and with accurate postage rates but due to fluctuating exchange rates prices are subject to change at any time.

Payment: We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards.
Australian customers may use BPAY.

BPAY Customers: Please wait for a personal email from one of our staff confirming prices and availability BEFORE making the transfer. (This is not the automated email that arrives as soon as you have entered the order.)

Where there is a price change:

When the price is lower than listed we will charge the customer the lower price and proceed with the order.

If there is an increase in price / postage or a delay in shipment due to a lack of stock in hand we will email the customer to inform them and to confirm that they wish to proceed with the order.
No funds will be transferred from your account until we receive your confirmation.

Where part of the order is available and some delayed we offer the customer the following options:

To wait for all items to be available to send together.

To send in separate packages and the customer pays for the extra postage.

To send what is available and cancel the order for the delayed item.
We will wait for our customers instructions and confirmation before processing any payment.

Unfortunately we are not able to absorb the extra postage costs where they are incurred.
We will always inform our customers of these changes and offer the option to cancel if required.

Freight

Please ensure that you have entered the correct mailing address on your order.

Domestic orders are sent by express post bags where ever possible and these are traceable.

International orders are sent by regular airmail which is not traceable.
If you would like your parcel sent by registered mail or by express mail which can be tracked please send us a message with your order (in the extra instructions and as a separate email to info@tarabookshop.com) and we will send you a quote for the alternate mail prices.

We take due care in sending parcels suitably packed to avoid damage and to correct addresses (as received on orders) but we are NOT RESPONSIBLE for items Damaged or Lost in the mail.

If you have ordered oversize items, use BPAY or there is any change in your order we will contact you to confirm freight charges.
